I am a self confessed late starter who can’t get enough out of life.
EVENTUALLY qualified as an Aircraft Technician who went on to run several successful off line businesses in the UK before emigrating with my family to Australia. Went on to become a Gemologist Appraiser and former member of the Valuer’s Council, and owned three retail jewelery stores before kind of retiring (yeah right).
Taught at our local College and University before discovering the beauty in PHP coding and MYSQL Databases. This (naturally) made me spent two years developing the Worlds ONLY Online Jewelry Appraisal and Gemstone Valuation software systems – which occupy most of my time.
I am also an award winning writer in both fiction and non-fiction and that is still my passion.
Married with three children and eight Grandchildren, I am old enough to know better – yet young enough to know I am not dead. Love Travel and spent three years travelling the outback of Australia by Caravan before settling down once more (my wife told me I had to grow up).
My typing fingers are shorter than my thumbs. But I love my life.
